Gagaku concert, the oldest ensemble in the world (Matsumoto city / 松本市) vol.3

The third act was "Kocho".

"Garyobin" was bird's dance, "Kocho" is butterfly's dance.
"Garyobin" and "Kocho" are danced as a set usually, danced by the children.

It is said that "Kocho" came from Korea. I researched about it, but only could find where the dance came from, and couldn't find what the dance means.

I know the flower's named "Kocho-ran".
Their English name is Phalaenopsis, and the language of flower is "pure love" and "happiness flew into you". I felt this language of flower are quite near to image of butterfly.

May every one receive the happiness.
